When you sit down for your official exam, Pocket Prep’s goal is that you feel confident and prepared. Part of being prepared is knowing what to expect. With that in mind, we have developed a ‘mock exam’ experience for a selection of our exams.
Our Mock Exam study mode is designed to mimic the test day experience. Like all of our exam content, the Mock Exam questions and explanations are created by subject matter experts and closely follow the actual exam outline in terms of subject weighting. This release officially removes the ‘beta’ tag from that functionality.
Please note that not all exams will have a Mock Exam.

Does it spark joy?
Spring cleaning is a thing, so we've done a little tidying up in the app. You won't notice any changes, but rest assured that the closets are clean, baseboards are wiped, and the doorknobs disinfected (yup, it's a thing).
While we were under the couch dusting, we noticed a pretty nasty little bug that was causing app crashes when you followed email links to start an activity like Question of the Day. We squashed that bug dead.

Contrast is king
They say that ‘content is king.' Since we already have awesome content, we spent the last few weeks focused on our contrast. That means various elements within our application should 'pop’ a bit more - things like answer cards or entry fields.
We care about making our application easy to use for all members. This little bit of polish makes everything a tad bit more accessible. Contrast #FTW

Accessibility Updates
Some of our studiers have different vision or motor functions than others. To better assist them, we’ve made updates and enhancements to the app that makes it easier to use with a screen reader and keyboard.
This is just one step in our quest to help put education within everyone’s reach, and we'll continue pushing to improve accessibility in future updates.

Turning it up to 11
Thanks for all your great feedback on our latest redesign. We took notes, analyzed the logs and made a few tweaks including several crash fixes and improved VoiceOver support.
The app still includes the same high quality-questions, answers, and explanations wrapped up in a fun new and accessible design. All of these updates are thanks to feedback from our members.
